Logan had no intention of drinking anything else in this bar tonight. There was a faint buzz in his veins, just enough to soften the edges and keep the guilt and pain buried for a little while longer. It would wear off in an hour or so, but he hoped by then he’d have something else to distract him.The whiskey burned pleasantly as it slid down his throat. It wasn’t the best he’d ever tasted, but it was the best this shithole had to offer, so he’d settled.
He’d been doing a lot of that lately.
