Work Text:
Ever since they started dating, Vivilly and Palpers adopted a new morning routine.
That routine usually started with this exact scenario.
Palpers grumbles as Vivilly lays half on top of him, a soft purr emanating from the latter, ‘mrrp’ing irritably when Palpers tries to push him off.
“I gotta get up, Viv,” He mumbles, still half-asleep. “You’re crushing me, by the way.”
“Don’t care,” Vivilly huffs back, though he does shift slightly to not actually hurt his boyfriend. “Too comfy.”
Palpers sighs, content despite the fondness in his voice. “You’re a fucking menace, dude.”
“Mhm,” Vivilly hums, absentmindedly tracing the scars on his boyfriend’s chest. “But you love me.”
Palpers smiles, a giddy smile that he tries to hide, but definitely doesn’t succeed in doing. “Of course I do.”
It’s an obvious fact, of course. The sky is blue, the stars shine in the night sky, Palpers loves Vivilly, and Vivilly loves Palpers.
So they lay there for longer than they probably should, and end up running behind on their daily chores, but it’s worth it in the end, because they have each other.
And to them, there’s nothing better in the world than the fact they have each other.
