Coil stood at the edge of a desolated rooftop somewhere in Crossroads, needles to say he was bored out of his mind, he had previously went to check on Skate and his other two goobers but Sling was to busy with the Cafe and Skate and Boom were no were to be seen
Coil closed his eyes for a quick minute trying to think while balancing at the edge of the roof, he could go to Blackrock and steal from them again that always cheer him up, but the atmosphere of the day and the chill breeze on his face made him a bit to relaxed to cause chaos for Blackrock
It made him relax so much in fact, that he miss stepped at the edge of the roof causing him to fall on to the ground, such a foolish mistake for someone like him, he quickly activated grab witch unfortunately didn't quite eased the fall making a loud grunt in pain as he lucky (unfortunately) landed on a pile of trash
Great as if his day couldn't get worse, he was beyond pissted now, he was bored out of his mind and now his entire body hurt and stinked, he let out a defeated grunt that could probably be heard from 5 streets away and switched again to heal a bit himself a bit eased the pain, as he stared at the sky, he thanked that he didn't this kind of mistake in Crossroads and not in Playground he could had easily got himself molded in Playground's alleyways
His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of steps approaching him, "God's demmitt what now?" He tried to lift himself up from the trash pile to defend himself from whoever was approaching him but it still hurt, it wasn't even that tall, why did it still hurt!?
"Hey! Are you alright?"
He looked back at the voice, it sounded familiar? The lightning wasn't the best in that alley but he could still make something out of the demon that was talking to him, he had a mohawk and what it looked like a brown hoodie with a metal plate in his shoulder??? They didn't sound like they had bad intentions form their tone of voice they sound worried, but still he could let himself show weakness to a possible threat and still tried his best to get up
"Wait, I know you! You are coil right? Is me, Sword!"
"Sword?"
Suddenly his view cleared up, it was Sword! He had teamed up with him in a phigth or two, he definitely isn't the type of guy that looks like a threat but the dude was scary on the battlefield. Coil isn't still quite sure if he should trust this guy, he know how to put a good phigth, but he quickly lost track of that thought as he stared into Swords face, that dumb smile of his that he always seems to carry around with him, it definitely doesn't make him look threat, it was somehow pleasant to look at, how cute..... cute? CUTE!?!?!?!?
"Yep, that's me! Do you need help by any change?"
"Huh? Oh yeah thanks man" a bit of red painted his checks
"Say how do you end up here? If you don't mind me asking ofc" Sword extended his arm at to Coils high as he accepted it "Oh you know getting beat up by a couple of junk-bots can get you really lost" a straight up lie something that Coil was notorious for doing but Sword didn't seem to know that "but if I get saved up by a knight in shining armor might get lost more often"
"Oh! No, no!" Sword chuckle "I'm not really a knight, I just sorta look like one haha"
What the hell? Is this guy stupid? How did he not get the obvious flirt???
"But you're a pretty strong guy I couldn't be able to imagine someone like you ending up in an alleyway" Coil felt himself get even more red, was he flirting back or was that a genuine compliment? "Oh witch- are you ok? I heard a loud noise and came as quickly as possible" Sword stepped closer to Coil to check up on him, despite Sword being just a bit more taller than Coil, he could help but feel weird about the situation they were currently in, Sword's fingertips softly touching the skin on his arm but being careful not to touch his gear, which Coil quickly reacted stepping back bit from Sword
"Oh- pfff yeah! It's chill, nothing that my regen can't do!"
Sword let what it looked like a sigh of relief out, while Coil looked better at the taller demon in front of him, both now making eye contact, he is a very good looking guy, he could risk a little with him the worst that could happen is him saying no, right? "Say as much as I love hanging out in random alleyways with ya, I could really use some nice caffe soooo would you mind giving me your number?"
"Oh! Well as much a I'm happy to make a new friend I unforgettable do not possess a phone"
Yeah, I don't think he was flirting back there
"But my friend Rocket has one! You can maybe exchange numbers with him?" Said Sword while he played with his hands
"Rocket?" Coil looked at Sword with a 'are you kidding?' Look in his face
The swordsman quickly nodded, his dumb idiot smile still in his face.
"The guy that has an undying hate towards Playgrounders?
"Y-your from Playground?"
Wow! Ok! Yeah, this guy might be genuinely stupid
Coil let out an irritated sigh, why was he trying to ask him out in this first place? This guy might genuinely be as dumb as a rock! "How about you just tell me when you are free?"
"Oh! Well I'm free on the weekend! Is that ok?
"Alright! Saturday at 4 in the arcade and maybe some coffee later?"
"A- well- sure!!" Looks like the realization that he was befriending a Playgrounder hit him, Rocket is definitely going to kill him
Coil relaxed his shoulders a bit as he heard Sword accept his invitation "Well then see ya there, knight!". Before Sword could answer, Coil switched again, this time to speed, and quickly ran out of the alley way while he heard a distant "I'm not a knight!" As he was running, he ran for a while before sporting the 3 musketeers themselves! How convenient "About time I found you guys holy shit!"
"Coil! What's good man- holy shit dude why do you smell!? Skate quickly cover his face to avoid the smell
Coil just looked at his friends with a smug smile and said "well as bad as I smell I! This guy right here" he pointed to himself "Just got a date! With a cutie mind you"
"Oh?" "No way" "lier"
"I'm not lying!"
"Alright then show a pic of this ‘cutie' your SO passionate about" Said Slingshot
"Shut up, hold on" He quickly reached for his phone in his pocket, Sword might not have socials but his buddy the Playground hater sure did! "Here!"
"Oh that guy!" "He's cute" "Not bad"
"Wait holy shit you pull the friend of the Playground hater!?" Skate shouted
"Perchance" Coil couldn't help but smile, that definitely busted his ego
"Ok now the proof" said Boombox
"I didn't ask him truth message, I asked him myself, dummy! Plus he doesn't have a phone"
"Aaaaaaaaah" The trio in from of him exchange glances with each other as if they were thinking the exact same thing
"How convenient!" Boombox said
Coil was getting more and more annoyed by the minute "look if you don't believe me you could see it for yourself! We go to our meeting place and then you guys scramble away and do whatever while I get to know him!"
"Mhm" "I'll probably have work that day" "Sounds fun"
"Great, now can we hang out?
"Hell no you smell like ass!" Slingshot spoke out
"Oh!" In the blink of an eye Coil disappeared and reappeared in front of the trio now with new clothes and not smelling bad anymore "better?"
"No shit Sherlock!" Let's go" Said Boombox as he stared to blast music that they all like
