It was a game they played since secondary - tip-toe up to Tara to try and startle her just to see the pretty blush rise in her cheeks.
And now, years later, it was still Darcy’s favourite thing.
She peaked in as Tara hummed along to the song on the telly, their daughter squirming in her hands, before donning a silly frog hat and dramatically jumping in to the room at just the right moment:
“And rainbows have nothing to hide!”
Tara laughed with the familiar refrain of “You’re never going to get me,” as their daughter squealed and laughed along.
