Chapter Text
I see her in the shop windows as I pass by, in my reflection at the lake, and in the field behind my house. She is in my thoughts as I watch the sun set and when the flowers bloom in the spring. I hear her in the pretty words I speak, the wind that tousles my hair, and the birds that sing in the woods. Her presence in my mind strikes me when I do the mundane, or when my actions are oddities. I see her at the bench in the park near the corner of 1st and Smith, my favorite spot. She is in everything I do, think, feel, see, and hear.
She is everywhere.
And, though her presence in my life was but a flash, her presence in my soul will never truly leave. She hit me with a blow that could rival the asteroid that separated the Moon from Earth. Purely life-changing. She has taken root in the very constituents of my being, and I will carry the weight of her memory eternally.
