The Teen Titans had been abducted and found themselves to be in space after they got free. Tim sends out a distress signal for pick up and almost takes it back after his brother's voice responses at The Outlaws receiving it. Things have gotten better between Tim and Jason, but the thought of being in an enclosed space with him makes Tim want to panic and rub at his neck where there is a scar under the high suit collar. A change he made to the suit after Jason cut his neck to taunt Bruce during the Hush mess.
Tim only manages to stay strong thanks to Kon saying he'll not leave his side the whole time so he feels safe. (Jason is having a similar talk on the ship about how nervous he is about Tim being around him. He worked hard to get as calm as he has around Tim, but sometimes his vision still goes green and it takes a lot to walk away from him. Bizarro says he'll keep an eye on Jason and if he just drives the ship the whole time he'll not have to risk bumping into Tim at all.)
After the Titans are secure on the ship and they are heading to earth, Jason is recording a message to send to the JL to let them know they found and are returning the teens. Jason is making a sarcastic remark about Batman keeping a better eye on his wayward birds when alarms start blaring and the ship shakes roughly.
The video shows Jason (Red Hood helmet on) trying to get the ship under control as Artemis calls out a portal of some kind is opening on them, a flash of green light briefly covers the screen and Jason is slumped over the steering wheel when it clears. Both Bizarro and Kon are seen to also be unconscious in the background before the video feed glitches out. Audio catches the alarm changing to 'Collision Imminent' and Tim yelling to brace for impact before a loud crash sound cuts the audio as well. The message gets sent right before the portal closes and cuts off communications entirely.
Impulse is the first to wake up and finds their ship crashed on a planet with plant life his suit recognizes as being from Earth and producing breathable air. Everything is overgrown but he sees a sign outside the ship's window with Earth letters, he can't read what it says but it looks like the 'Welcome to [Place Name]' signs he's seen before. Impulse shrugs that off for now and checks on the ship and the teams.
The ship is damaged but repairable. Jason, Kon, and Bizarro are still not waking up, Jason keeps twitching and sometimes coughing up dark green goop. Most injuries were avoided from their seat straps keeping them in place, but Tim did get a nasty cut to the head from Kon headbutting him during the crash when he was trying to keep Kon's neck from snapping. And not a single communicator is able to pick up a signal from anyone they know, it only shows one radio signal coming from past the sign Impulse saw.
Those able to move gear up to scout the area and watch over their downed teammates and ship, Cassie stays behind to work on the communicators and the ship. Tim begins to make a language algorithm using the sign Impulse points out as it doesn't register on any known languages the ship or his suit has, it just alerts as Earth letters.
They walk into the overgrown ruins of a city following the radio signal and grow confused at how similar to their Earth everything looks. None of the cars seem to move past the year 2004 (the assumed year DP takes place in) and everything is out of date compared to their Earth, but this does appear to just be another Earth. The only thing that is throwing them off is odd blood-red roses with leaves and stems so dark purple they look black that none of them have ever seen before, when Tim collects some to analyze they give off a red vapor that keeps the team from getting near them again.
As the team gets closer to the signal they notice its inside what looks like a city hall, the roof is caved in and the odd flowers seem to have originated from there and spread out over time. The inside seems pretty normal up until they reach the mayor's office and find more flowers coming from the broken doors and glass cases along the walls leading to them. The items inside seem pretty random to the team, but Tim takes pictures anyways and adds what they say to his algorithm anyways.
They, very carefully , get past the doors and flowers to enter the office where the signal is strongest. The flowers are everywhere but seem to come from a blade stabbed into something where the mayor would sit, a device with a screen sits on the desk in its own glass case. Artemis flies over the flowers to pick it up, causing the desk to crumble when the flowers shift and bring a chunk of themselves down, revealing what's in the mayor's chair.
They are surprised to find it's a teen and that he still looks alive . The odd blade is stabbed to the hilt in his chest and the flowers are growing from it and the teen, thorny vines seen burrowed into his skin around the blade and out of his mouth, showing they are growing inside him too.
Artemis can feel something like death magic coming from the blade and teen so Impulse makes the joke of Sleeping Beauty and the thorns the prince had to fight through to wake her up. After explaining the story, Artemis agrees it does seem like that and asks if they are going to try and wake the teen up or not. Tim says to wait and see what the device can tell them in case the teen was like this for a reason and/or if the blade will hurt them for trying.
They get back to the ship to see Cassie working outside with nothing to report. They go inside and see little green blobs with eyes floating around tapping at things or making little piles around their unconscious friends. Jason has the most poking around at him or making 'purring' sounds as they rest on him, they seem to also absorb any dark green goop he coughs up.
The team is worried before they realize they aren't doing anything and seem harmless. Tim even pokes one with his bo staff, all it does is grab it and thrill when he shakes it off and sends it floating away. Artemis says they feel like the same death magic as the mystery teen but they also remind her of filter fish Jason showed her when explaining pets the world of Man has. Harmless and they only seem to care about whatever goop is coming out of Jason, so it's likely bad for him.
Cassie and Bart work on shooing the blobs away from important thing as Tim gets the dark green goop sample he got from Jason before they left, the flowers, and a bit of the blobs in an analyzer and hooks the device they found up to Jason's laptop (a sacrifice he is making to not hook unknown tech to the ship's computer, he made sure to transfer any and all files to a bat-drive so Jason doesn't lose anything. If he uses it later to make Jason let him have a tiny handful of cases that overlap with Crime Alley, well, that's between Tim and Jason now isn't it?)
Tim gets the device working and finds it's a series of video files, one translation later shows they are addressed to someone named 'Danny' and go over several years before they stop. The first one Tim plays is, ironically, the last one that says 'Play Me First'.
The screen shows an older woman with messy red hair, a circlet, a scar like cracked porcelain going from her cheek down her neck, and tired looking teal eyes. She looks to be wearing some kind of battle attire that had seen use recently.

- The reality for Danny Phantom is off to the side from the DCU, so their English is three rotations from what they know. Like a caesar/rot cipher set to 3 rot. (If you've ever seen 'A Christmas Story' movie, Ralphie uses a Little Orphan Annie decoder ring to decipher a code. It's like that, number the alphabet and set D as 1 instead of A and that is how the Danny Phantom English reads.)

- Jason is passed out because he essentially got a full body shot of pure ecto in the portal and it's forcing out the corruption from the Lazarus pit's ecto the longer they are in Amity Park. The twitching is from Jason's body not liking how the two ecto types fighting feels. Kon and Bizarro are clones, they are considered 'Mirrorborns' and denizens of the Infinite Realms like Dani. They never had ecto before and their bodies are getting used to it, like how starvation and malnutrition needs time to be recovered from. They will wake up before Jason.
- The blade Vlad created was hollow with little glass sections inside. When he stabbed it into Danny the sections merged and blood blossom seeds mixed with a biochemical Vlad made with ecto from Overgrowth (left behind after the fight that Vlad collected in secret.) The seeds grew rapidly and greatly weakened Danny, putting him into a sleep-like state instead of killing him because of his human half and the power from being High King saving him. As long as the blade is in Danny the Blood Blossoms will grow and he won't wake up. Ghosts can't get near because of the Blood Blossoms and humans can't get past the ghost defenses Vlad put over the blade. Only another Halfa can take out the blade.
- It has been many many years since Danny went to sleep, the disruption of the Infinite Realms from its king being hurt and Vlad's war for the crown leaked over into the living realm and caused humans to get sick from the 'death energy' radiation. Humans died out from people being born Liminal and animals mutated to be more ghost-like. Amity Park is now just one of the many ruins forgotten to time.
- Vlad's war for power cost many lives and the afterlives of several ghosts, as the team saw their items in the glass cases.
It's up to whoever write this what is in the cases, but some examples are:

Amorpho's red glasses and cane
Cujo's squeaky toy and collar
Tucker's PDA and red hat
ETC
- Vlad may have 'defeated' Danny, but Clockwork altered things just enough he forgot to officially declare a challenge for the throne itself. Leadership technically fell to Dani as his clone but she gave it to Jazz as the power was too much and caused her to start destabilizing. It also hurt Jazz (the crack like scars) because she was only Liminal but she did her best to fight Vlad and set up the Infinite Realms to rule itself when she passed, preventing the chaos that Pariah Dark's slumber caused without a king.
- Danny is in the mayor's office because Vlad lured him there to 'talk' about his latest plan for Jack's death and stabbed Danny without warning. The flowers grew so fast Vlad could only shove Danny away and into his desk chair before the flowers coved him too. The flowers were contained to the office for a while before rain damage brought the roof down and they spread across the town in areas of high ecto. The town was left for ruin because no Liminal could safely live around the flowers without getting sick.
