Summary
I need a fic where Danny’s the ghost king who moved to Gotham bcs of a bad reveal with his parents or for job opportunities or whatever and Gotham’s the only place with enough ectoplasm to sustain him.
Anyways, Joker has died and brought back to life more time than is healthy tbh and is def somewhat liminal.
Danny knows this, and he also knows that as Ghost King he can command spirits or liminal to do something and they have to do it.
So when Joker breaks out of Arkham and kidnaps Tim Drake (cuz why not) and is recording live, Danny Fenton (not Phantom) just strolls into the warehouse they’re in with a rolled up newspaper in one hand and smacks the Joker on the top of his head.
“Get back to your cell in Arkham, Jack, let the poor guy go,”
Danny refuses to call him “Joker” that’s a stupid ass name—at least Vlad was creative!
To everyone’s shock, Joker’s face just scrunches up angrily but eventually unties Tim Drake and then marches himself back to Arkham.
This happens every time he breaks out.
