Chapter Text
"Craig, where's my coat?"
The black haired boy blinked at the blonde haired boy, confused, "You don't wear a coat."
"Quit messing with me, man!" the boy twitched.
"I'm not- What coat?"
"What do you mean 'what coat'?! I've worn it plenty of times!"
Craig hummed in a flat tone before glancing away, trying to rack his memory. He only remembered Tweek wearing the same, wrinkly green button-up. (He had no idea how that boy somehow survived the harsh winter when wearing only that and baggy pants.)
Oh wait, Tweek did wear a coat once. It was brown and big on him, clearly a hand-me-down from his dad when he was younger. They had big buttons, too: the ones that wouldn't pop off with his boyfriend's constant fidgeting. Maybe not once, then. Craig wouldn't know the details if it was only once. Maybe five times maximum? Yeah, that sounded right.
"My dad's gonna kill me..." he heard Tweek, who had went out of his way to disrupt Craig's orderly mess of laundry to figure out the mystery plaguing the two, mutter in a shaky voice. He felt bad for him, even if he knew it was just a form of speech. Maybe it was because of Butters.
Craig sighed and begrudgingly got up from his bed, "Are you sure you left it here? It could just be in your closet or something."
Tweek's shoulders and voice slightly relaxed at the sound of his boyfriend's nasally voice, and he swiftly retorted, "I already checked my closet super well!" He then excitedly grabbed a brown sweatshirt before frowning and throwing it into the pile he had made for everything that wasn't his lost coat.
"Why would it be here then?"
"Because I'm over here a lot!"
"Well, when's the last time you had it?"
Tweek paused and blinked. He then inhaled before finally answering.
"I have no idea."
God damn it, they both had memory issues. They would never find this coat unless they got lucky and it was in Craig's room this entire time.
Craig groaned and flopped back into his bed, opting to just pick off one of his old hoodies and chuck it towards Tweek, causing him to yelp, "Catch."
Tweek did, in fact, not catch it. He scooped it off of the floor where it had fallen and unraveled it, "Why are you giving this to me?"
"If you don't find this stupid coat, you can have mine."
"That's gay."
"You're gay."
Tweek rolled his eyes and grumbled under his breath before tucking the hoodie under his shoulder and sitting down on the ledge of the bed, watching as Craig scrolled on his phone.
The black haired boy glanced at the blonde boy a few times before commenting, "Quit staring at me."
"I thought you liked my eyes!"
"When you're not staring into my soul, honey."
Tweek simply hummed.
Then, he shot up and blurted out, "I LEFT IT AT SCHOOL!"
Craig couldn't help but burst out into laughter.
