Chapter Text
Harry
The silence screamed in Harry’s ears
and his cheeks were wet with salty tears.
His eyes were closed but he still saw
crimson corpses that tried to claw
their way out of the freezing hell
because they still had their stories to tell.
One of the dead bodies was unique,
white-blonde hair with a jaw that ticked,
eyes in the wildest grey of a storm
and with blemished skin, roughly torn.
Harry reached towards that man
but he flinched back in shock and ran.
Harry’s heart burned and he couldn’t breathe.
He couldn’t fathom: Why would he leave?
But then he remembered and hate inflamed his veins.
He swore to the world, he would take away these pains.
He opened his eyes, his blood plumping fast.
He had made his decision, maybe his last.
The war had cost him his sanity, he thought,
but he still had those feelings he had once caught.
