    Silco happily walks ahead, pulling Vander after him by their linked hands, and for a moment, Vander feels like he’s seventeen again, and this beautiful boy is propositioning him deep in the mines like an utter maniac.
    “I want you to pin me down,” Silco says as soon as the door is shut, and Vander feels like someone has upended a bucket of ice cold water over his head.
    “What?” he says.
    “Restrain me,” Silco repeats.
    “The last time I tried to fuck you, you had a panic attack,” Vander points out. “And we weren’t even doing anything particularly interesting.”
    “This time will be different,” Silco says. When Vander doesn’t move, he sighs and steps back into his space, his touch hot through the shirt Vander is wearing. “I trust you, Van. You won’t hurt me.”
