Summary
It's been five years since the outbreak. For the past five years, Sirius has been trying to hold him and his brother together through their parents' passing, the apocalypse, and, inexplicably, Regulus’s immunity. He isn't sure why the virus that has killed millions left him seemingly unscathed, but when Regulus goes missing, he knows he needs to find a way to get him back.
Remus keeps finding himself in near-death situations. Recently kicked out of the Fireflies, and harboring secrets of his own, most days Remus barely recognizes himself, so when a strange boy saves his life, he offers to join him in his effort to rescue his brother.
But as their lives tangle, and a cure looms in the distance, a new question arises, of what it means to save someone who didn’t want to be saved in the first place.
