Fear; that is all the leaders of the Galactic Coalition could feel, a deep-seated fear from the left-over genetic trait from their ancestors.
It all started 3 months ago after the captain of the Xektoid dreadnought sent that unnerving video of the gigantic ship to them.
After seeing the video all they could think about was the myths and legends of their home worlds, about a black ship appearing from a deadly storm, and leaving devastation and death in its wake.
Each home world of the aliens had the same myth, the only difference was the type of ship, be it a ship of the sea, or a sky ship, a ship of the desert, or of the land.
But ask anyone from any planet and they call it the same thing, ‘the Ship of the Damned’.
Over the following months, they were getting more and more reports from all over the galaxy about the Damned Ship appearing above different worlds or next to space stations.
As they looked at the many pictures and videos of the strange-looking crew, all they could comment on is about how ugly the daemons are.
What frightened them most was the crew were often asking for someone to take them to their leader.
The demons were coming for them.
When the ship appeared above their world the Galactic Coalition were thrown into hysterics, the demons were here for their souls.
Some leaders were frozen in shock, others were praying for salvation, and a few others were on the floor rocking back and forth mumbling incoherently.
When the demon said that they came in peace, the leaders were elated, the demons did not come here for them.
They all broke into smiles, knowing they were freed from damnation.
Until they heard the most unhinged hysterical laugh.
