Hazbin Hotel Headcanons

Alastor is a very controlling father; He’d even go as far as to name them something starting with ‘A’
He would make them dress in a similar style to his and would judge them for wearing clothes outside of what he thinks is acceptable.
His controlling behavior could cause a lot of arguments once they reach their teen years involving stuff like friends, relationships, and personal style.
Alastor would most likely homeschool his kid because he doesn’t trust the education system.
If he had his kid before he disappeared for 7 years I think he’d leave them with Rosie since she is one of the few people he does trust
His kid would not be allowed to have any modern technology (Computers, phones, etc.), and if they did somehow get their hands on some if he found it would be destroyed instantly.
He would love his kid, but he’s just not the best at expressing it.

Vox

Vox would be less controlling than Alastor but he would name his kid ‘V’ names.
Vox would monitor his kids and as long as his kid weren’t tainting the image of the Vees company he could care less about what they were doing.
He will hire a private tutor to educate his kid making sure they’re the best person for the job.
His kid will be very spoiled getting almost anything they want
When Vox’s kid are young and he’s working he’d offload babysitting duties onto his assistant, or if he has to take his kid he’d wear a baby carrier on his chest
As his kid get older he’ll expect his kid to do more in his company and if they ruin his image he’d likely yell at them, and not invite them to work on projects for weeks
When his kid is doing a good job he acts as any loving father would with soft fatherly smiles, and inviting them to go out together

Hu sk

Husk is going to be a very chill parent; he’s gonna care about his kid a lot and teach them not how to end up like him.
He’s gonna try to keep them far away from Alastor in case he tries to strike a deal.
He’d cut back on his drinking as much as possible since he’d try to set a good example for his kid.
Once his kid is in their late teens he’d let them drink, but only under his supervision.
Couldn’t get his kid much of an education but he’d try his best to get them into a decent school.

Angel Dust

Angel Dust is going to be quite overprotective of his kid; He’d be afraid of things like them ending up in situations like he does or even Valentino finding out about them.
Angel Dust would keep his kid a secret from Valentino and likely only the people at the hotel would know about them.
He would teach his kid Itailin whenever he had the time off of work
As his kid gets older and wants to go out to parties and clubs he’d tell them that if they gonna be doing drugs or drinking alcohol to just tell him beforehand; He knows they’d find a way to do it somehow if they wanted to so he just wants to know
Like Husk, Angel can’t do much about schooling but will get them the best education he can afford
He would cut back on drugs and partying and would likely spend more time participating in Charlie’s activities especially if his kid was encouraging him to do so
When his kid was young and he had to go to work he’d either leave Charlie, or Husk to babysit

Valentino

Valentino would not be a great dad. He would be very neglectful and forget things about his kid.
He would brush off taking care of his kid to any worker outside of his studio.
The most bonding he would have with them would him teaching them Spanish otherwise he would not care
