Chapter Text
…Ewan just felt… empty. He was at his wife’s funeral accompanied by his daughter, Camille. He was sitting next to the coffin, thinking about his pain while watching Camille talking to her cousins.
-Are you alright? - a tall figure suddenly appeared with a serious face, it was Owen.
Ewan looked at him with a few tears in his eyes.
-Not really… you know…
Owen tried to make eye contact with him.
-Uh… do you wanna… come to my house later? Socializing it’s good for dealing with grief, dude.
-Yes… thanks… - social interaction is very hard for Ewan and he is often perceived as “antisocial” but he needed to accept his brother’s invitation
-Ok, and i wanna have a little talk with you. - he stared him and left
That sentence gave Ewan goosebumps. What is “a little talk”? Is it a dangerous thing or a good moment?
A few hours have passed and the funeral was ending. The man couldn’t focus on anything, he was really insecure about the “little talk”. It seemed like nothing else existed, the only thing that existed was his thoughts. At the end of the wake, Owen came next to Ewan with a smile.
-Will you come?
He got a fright and came out of his thoughts.
-Yes. I will.
-Ok, i will wait you. Cya!
-Bye…
Ewan left the place, on the way to his brother's house.
