Tommy:
• Tommy is short for C!Tommyinnit
• Minecraft Player
• 16 years old
• Short curly blonde hair, blue eyes, green scarf, white shirt with red sleeves, torn brown jacket that none of the Critters know where it came from, badge trousers, running shoes, possibly a wingless Avian
• Traumatized, may or may not be suicidal, but laughs and makes stupid jokes to make himself feel better
• Gets along best with DogDay, almost seeing him as a pseudo father figure
• Can't fall asleep unless he's either a cuddle pile with all eight Smiling Critters or just CatNap
• He likes doing arts and crafts with CraftyCorn because it's somewhat therapeutic
• Often sits on Hoppy Hopscotch's back as she jumps or runs around, as she is very fast, and he enjoys the adrenaline
• In his opinion, Bobby BearHug gives the best hugs
• KickinChicken is a pseudo brother figure for him, but an actually positive one this time around
• He finds that cooking and baking with Picky Piggy is a lot of fun
• Tommy normally hates school and learning... But he doesn't mind it much when Bubba Bubbaphant is the one teaching
• May or may not have a father and two brothers, but that is yet to be decided for this au (let me know in the comments if you want SBI in this au or not)
DogDay:
• Anthropomorphic canine, characterized by an orange fur that complements his expressive black eyes, floppy ears, and sleek black nose. His features extend to a sunshine-yellow outer mouth and belly, while a touch of golden brown graces his paws, ears, and the left side of his face, sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, his inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness, a distinct black zipper gracefully traces down his center, showcasing a captivating gold sun pendant surrounded by radiant orange sun rays.
• 3.47 meters (11' 4") tall
• Has a heart of gold that he wears on his sleeve for all to see, a heroic character and the trusted leader of the Smiling Critters group. As shown by his pendant, DogDay has a sunny demeanor, always looking at the bright side of things and encouraging others in their time of need.
• Leader of the Smiling Critters and Tommy's main caretaker
CatNap:
• Anthropomorphic purple-furred cat with black eyes, triangular ears, a black nose, and a very long tail. His paws are a darker shade of purple, similar to the insides of his ears, and possess a wide, toothless smile with a small gray air tube sewn inside. His torso possesses a zipper line running down that entire segment of his body, with the zipper sporting a yellow crescent moon pendant. He was also supposed to emit a lavender scent from the little spray applicator in his mouth but ended up expelling the Red Smoke instead
• 6.94 meters (22' 8") tall, which freaked Tommy out the first time he met him
• Spends most of his time napping in the shade, but has no problem hunting for food or defending everyone, as well as docile, gentle, bashful, and highly impressionable. While eerie and unnerving at first glance, CatNap was in reality a rather calming presence who took his job of being Playcare's caretaker very seriously, as he always wanted to ensure his friends were getting the proper bed rest they need. He enjoyed watching them sleep soundly and could easily take care of the wants and needs of the children.
• Loves napping with Tommy, even if he is secretly awake during those naps and just making sure the kid is safe and comfortable
CraftyCorn:
• Anthropomorphic unicorn with white skin, black eyes, horse ears, and a silver spiral horn protruding from the center of her head. Her hooves, mane and tail are colored aqua, similar to the inside of her ears, depicted with a wide toothless grin with a voice box inside the black mouth and she possesses a black zipper line running down her center, with the zipper sporting a five-petaled rainbow flower pendant.
• 3.3 meters (10' 8") tall
• CraftyCorn is a creative unicorn with a passion for art, sharing its importance with the other crew members seeing the beauty in all things around her.
• She adores doing arts and crafts with Tommy
Bubba Bubbaphant:
• Anthropomorphic cerulean elephant with black eyes, an S-shaped trunk, a long tail with a bulb-shaped end, and large ears. His feet, hands, and tail end, as well as the inside of his trunk and ears, are blue. Similar to the other Smiling Critters, Bubba is depicted with a wide toothless grin, and he possesses a zipper line running down his center, with the zipper sporting a yellow lightbulb pendant with a blue Edison screw base.
• 4.72 meters (15' 5") tall
• The most intelligent smiling critter and acts as the brain of the gang
• He acts as Tommy's teacher, but recently also took the role of a therapist after nothing come concerning behavior with Tommy...
• Related to the last fact, Bubba is slowly becoming a coffee addict
Bobby BearHug:
• Anthropomorphic bear with red fur, black eyes, a black nose, rounded ears, and padded paws. Her paws, upper snout, and belly are rose pink, similar to the inside of her ears. In line with other Smiling Critters, Bobby BearHug sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, her inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness, and she possesses a distinctive black zipper tracing down her center, with the zipper sporting a ruby-colored heart pendant.
• 2.17 meters (7' 11") tall
• She cares deeply about her friends and everything around her and will presumably act as a peacemaker, sharing the same role with CraftyCorn if a fight breaks out amidst the crew. However, Bobby can also be seen as naive, as she may care about someone who doesn't have her best intentions at heart.
• Most of the time, she is the one showing Tommy the love and affection he's been missing a good while and often helps Bubba with his therapy sessions with Tommy
Hoppy Hopscotch:
• Anthropomorphic lime green rabbit with black eyes, a black nose, and long ears. Her paws are green, similar to the rounded T-shape design in the inside of her ears. Like the other Smiling Critters, she is depicted with a wide toothless grin with a small gray air tube stuck inside her, and she possesses a black zipper line running down her center, with the zipper sporting a gold lightning pendant and a cotton tail.
• 3.6 meters (11' 8") tall
• An energetic and enthusiastic rabbit, she is particularly fond of outdoor sports and is described as sometimes being loud, bossy, and impatient. Despite this, Hoppy also demonstrates eagerness to help others and slow down accordingly
• She loves playing sports with Tommy, especially soccer (or football as he insists), but they favorite game is Hoppy running around as Tommy rides on her back
KickinChicken:
• Anthropomorphic chicken with yellow feathers, four-digit wings, black eyes, a half-moon-shaped upper beak, and a three-feathered crown extending down the right side of his face. His feet and upper beak have an orange color. Similar to the other Smiling Critters, KickinChicken is depicted with a wide toothless grin, and he possesses a black zipper line running down his chest and belly, with the zipper sporting an orange colored star pendant.
• 3.44 meters (11' 3") tall
• The "cool kid" of the Smiling Critters crew. He highly values this representation of himself, so he maintains his image through everything he does, but he also has a strong sense of determination, as he will emerge unfazed from any tense situation that brings him to his knees.
• He acts like Tommy's big brother, teasing him, teaching him to skate and just let loose once in a while. He's a surprisingly positive influence on Tommy
Picky Piggy:
• Anthropomorphic pig with pink skin, black eyes, a curly tail, a half-moon shaped upper snout, and ears curling inward. Her hooves and snout, along with the inside of her ears, are a darker shade of pink. Similar to the other Smiling Critters, PickyPiggy is depicted with a wide toothless grin, and she possesses a black zipper line running down her center, with the zipper that's sporting a red apple pendant.
• 2.6 meters (8' 5") tall
• A healthy eater who loves food and encourages her friends to eat a well-balanced diet, though she harbors a secret fondness for cheeseburgers and PB&J sandwiches.
• She loves cooking for her friends, but she especially loves when Tommy joins her so she can share with him her love of cooking
