"What the fuck is this."
Diego had led Five and Klaus to the old Hargreeves mansion. Five had initially been reluctant, considering everyone's history with the place. To be frank, they didn't exactly have a choice- they needed some place to stay, after all, but anywhere was better than here. But when they arrived, they were shocked with the sight. Diego did mention the place looked different, but not this different.
"Maybe the old man had taste in this timeline," Klaus joked. "I'm in."
"Fine," Five shrugged. At least the place looked nice.
And it did. If there was a definition of luxury, the mansion was it. It looked the opposite from the one of their childhood. It was as if Reginald had consulted an actual designer this time. The walked into the gates and were immediately surrounded by a garden. Five was first reminded of the garden in the Underworld, for some reason. There were even crystal statues. Klaus had stopped to walk to a couple statues in front of a waterfall. Diego and Five followed.
"I've never seen this one before," Diego admitted, looking up at it.
It was statues of them. They were made of white marble, which reminded Five somehow of ancient Greek statues of the gods, for some reason. Five took a step forward to examine each statue. His eyes fell on Luther's statue first. He held a morningstar in one hand, and his other hand was clenched in a fist. What looked like the beginning of a boar's tusk was next to him, and Luther was smiling, like always.
"Hah!" Diego laughed, "Look at my statue, man."
Five and Klaus turned to see Diego's statue. It had Diego, knives being held in-between his fingers. Wind was shown around him, and lightning was shown striking the ground around him. An eagle was on his shoulder.
"Very interesting," Five said.
"Oh my god- gods," Klaus corrected himself, pointing at another statue. "It's Allison's."
Allison. The one who put them in this mess in the first place. Five didn't know how to feel about her- on one hand, she was his sister. On the other hand, in the last time, she was in a downward spiral and reset the timeline. They were trapped in a world of greek mythology and everyone was initially separated. That being said, this timeline wasn't all bad. They started to reunite, after all, and Five met some nice people. Klaus got a second home, and it was undeniable that Diego calling his new father 'Thunderdaddy' was funny. But only them three have reunited so far- nobody else had popped up, and that included Allison. Allison was a character who liked to have attention. Five thought she would've tried to return to fame, but it appeared that she hadn't tried. If she really wanted it, she would've just rumoured them, so either something was really wrong, or Allison had a change of heart. That, or Allison hadn't arrived in the timeline yet. That was always a possibility.
Five observed Allison's statue. She held a thin sword in front of her face, and flowers grew around her. There was a marble stone mirror as part of her statue, but nothing was carved into it. It was blank. There were no clues to her location. Classic Allison. Once Five got his hands on her, he was going to demand for her to explain how she could act in such a stupid way. Honestly.
"And here's mine," Klaus grinned.
Five and Diego walked over to where Klaus was looking at his own statue. It had Klaus standing with both his hands outstretched. Spirits looked like they were coming from around him, skeletons looked like they were emerging from the ground. The ground itself looked cracked.
"I haven't gotten that far with Hades yet," Klaus joked, "Maybe one day."
"You seeing him soon?" Five asked.
"I'll probably drop by for a visit every now and then," Klaus shrugged.
"Five!" Diego called, his brother already moving on, "Look at your statue!"
Klaus and Five approached where Diego was standing. Five was holding an hourglass in one hand and a ball of energy in the other. An axe was resting against his leg, a gun and dagger at his waist. A sword and spear were on Five's back, the shadows somehow forming a scythe in the sunlight.
"Cool," Klaus smirked and nudged Five's shoulder.
"Whatever," Five shrugged as they approached the next statue.
The next statue was Ben. He appeared to be standing on a medium sized rock, driftwood around him. Tentacles extended out of him, and Five could see shark's fins coming out of where water was carved out of marble around him. Ben was holding a trident in his right hand. But most importantly-
"Ugh, Mean Ben," Klaus sighed. "Looks like he made it in this timeline after all,"
Five wondered where Ben could possibly be. Most likely he would want to stay away from them, but maybe he could change his mind. He was still technically family, after all, and family stuck together.
"Hah! Viktor has one!" Diego shouted.
Five blinked over to Viktor's statue. He stood confidently, a violin in his hands. He was playing a tune. Soundwaves were carved around him on the grass. He wore what looked like a white suit, and a smirk was on his face. The sun shone behind him.
"Pretty nice," Five said approvingly.
"Lila has one." Klaus suddenly said.
That immediately got Diego's attention. They approached where Klaus was looking at Lila's statue. She looked confident, as usual, and a gun was swinging from her right hand. What was interesting, however, is that her left hand seemed to glow.
"So she's alive in the timeline," Diego said, "Somewhere."
Five nudged Diego's shoulder, "We'll find her, Diego."
"Right," Diego said, staring up at the statue. "Yeah. We will."
Five's gaze landed on another statue. "Hey, Sloane's here too."
They approached Sloane's statue. There was a carved moon on the floor beneath her. Sloane held a staff in one hand, and the other hand was outstretched. She wore a cloak which was pulled around herself, a smile on her face.
"Looks like once we find Luther, he'll be pretty happy," Diego commented.
"Yeah, it makes sense that she's here too," Five agreed. "Wonder if they've already found each other,"
"Maybe," Klaus responded. "But then why haven't they made their way here yet?"
"Why didn't you?" Diego shot back.
"I got run over-"
Five hid his smile. His fucking brothers.
"Yo!"
Diego and Five turned to see that Klaus had shadow-travelled to the door- well, technological pad. It was weird.
"Are we gonna stay outside forever, or are we gonna go in?" Klaus asked. He approached the door. "Wait a sec, how do we go in?"
Diego grinned and stepped forward, "Watch the master,"
Then Diego reached forward. It was time to open the door.
