(It's one of his best skills.)

Chapter Text

Izuna steps out of his brother's trailer, looking around for the man he came here to see.

And, lucky him, Tobirama is right there on one of the rocky outcrops that led the director to choose this location out of all the others, wonderfully dramatic in costume. Of course the armour is far more reminiscent of what samurai would wear rather than shinobi, but hey, they don't call it poetic licence for nothing.

"You're squinting," Izuna drops down next to his fellow cast member, no matter that he's only here for a single day of shooting. "I think you need glasses."

"It was you who needed LASIK, or so your brother tells me," Tobirama doesn't look up from the script, frowning at the lines even as he marks them up with red pen until the paper looks like it's bleeding. "Don't confuse me with yourself."

"Ha! You only wish you were this good looking!" Izuna smirks when that gets Tobirama to look at him with a scowl. "Which isn't to say you don't have your own unique charm of course."

"Izuna." Tobirama blushes, even his ears going red, and that is delightful.

"How can you have been an actor for this long and still not be used to compliments?" Izuna wonders aloud, before whipping out a pair of glasses and shoving them onto Tobirama's nose. "But there, it's Valentines! Seasonally appropriate glasses for you!"

Heart shaped and tinted blue, they match Tobirama's armour surprisingly well and they frame his glare in all its outraged glory even better. "I look ridiculous."

"You look adorable!" Izuna counters immediately, having been waiting months to say those words, ever since nii-san was cast in fact.

"Maybe the LASIK didn't take after all, I think you're the one who needs his eyes checked." Tobirama's mouth turns down in a grumpy grimace, but Izuna knows how to fix that.

"Nah," Izuna slides on the other pair of novelty sun glasses that he found at the airport while he was on layover. "I'm just looking at the world through rose coloured lenses, baby."

"You did not just say that." Tobirama whips off his glasses and nearly doubles over laughing. "That is terrible!"

"Yeah," Izuna leans over and presses a kiss to one of the painted lines makeup drew on those incredible cheekbones. "Made you laugh though!"

The blush comes back and Izuna grins as he walks away, hips swinging provocatively.

Yeah, this is gonna be really, really fun.
