Work Text:
Elphaba let out a soft hum when she climbed into Galinda’s waiting lap. “Hey, princess, how are you?” Galinda immediately started to pay attention to Elphaba, wrapping her arms around the taller woman’s waist.
“I’m a little tired,” Elphaba was honest as she pressed her face against Galinda’s shoulder. Galinda smiled softly. She couldn’t wait until the older woman would be spoiled enough to start asking her for kisses as soon as she slipped into her lap. “How are you? I was told you didn’t attend your later classes,” Elphaba eyed the younger woman with concern.
“I almost got into a fight but it’s okay now,” Galinda knew to be honest with Elphaba. The emerald-skinned woman looked at Galinda with concern in her gaze. “It’s alright, sweetheart,” she knew she had to calm Elphaba down, which was something Galinda never minded doing. “I’m telling you, people will learn to stop bad-mouthing you in my presence,” Galinda gently tightened her hold on Elphaba, causing the older woman to look at her in shock.
“But…” Elphaba didn’t know what to say or if she should say anything. However, Galinda gently pressed her lips against Elphaba’s soft lips, helping her relax.
“Good girl.”
