“Stargrazing!” He shouted again. “Wait, was it stargazing? Yeah! Stargazing! It’s an outside activity, Joonghyuk-ah! I think you’ll like it.” Naively, or perhaps just still as starry-eyed as the first day, he smiled at his friend.
Yoo Joonghyuk raised an eyebrow at him. “Why would I want to do something like that?”
Kim Dokja felt momentarily taken aback by his friend’s non-enthusiastic response, but quickly recovered. “Because they’re pretty! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it, Joonghyuk-ah! We can lie in the backyard and look at them, did you know there are groups of stars that have names? They’re called constellations!”
Perhaps Yoo Joonghyuk had been in a bad mood already, or perhaps he really didn’t see the fun that Kim Dokja did, but either way, his next words came out much harsher than any of them expected. “What does that have to do with anything? It just sounds boring like everything else you like to do.”
Kim Dokja made a face that made Yoo Joonghyuk’s heart clench inside his chest and threaten to claw out from his ribcage to slap him on the face. Yoo Joonghyuk himself was surprised by his own snappish tone, but as the stubborn kid that he was, he stood his ground, even as he saw Kim Dokja’s dark eyes cloud with tears.

This was really cute!!! I really enjoyed it! Sadly i'm not a fan of jumping straight into marking (cause one of them was dizzy under his heat and the other was thinking with his dick, and also they weren't even together yet? Dokja even tought Joonghyuk only did it for the sex and was worried about it) and pregnancy (for the reasons listed above, and because they didn't really get time to actually be a couple before they had to be parents. Also because the "decision", while very much intentional and probably not regretted at all, was made with only instincts and horniness as it's reasoning cause that was definitively a breeding kink there, and again, both the marking and the breeding, things that are pretty much permanent, were done under the heat of the moment), but honestly knowing these two idiots, they're both really happy with how it all turned out lol there's a reason why the breeding kink is so popular in jongdok fics lmao
Anyways all that to say that even though I'm not a fan of those two tiny details, i still enjoyed the story a lot and tought it was incredibly sweet, especially the beggining with them as kids!
