   Summary

   It's been weeks since the fall of Nikador, leaving Stelle and Dan Heng at an impasse.

   They had only each other to rely upon in this strange land that didn't want them, and yet... the chasm between them seemed to grow with each day that passed, no matter how much Stelle wanted to bridge that gap.
