Galinda and Elphaba stared at their current problem in their shared common space, a singular bed. Galinda heard a small choke from Elphaba and smirked at how flustered the emerald-skinned young woman was. “Don’t worry, princess, I am sure this will be fun,” no matter how much Galinda wanted to keep her private room for herself, she wasn’t going to leave Elphaba without a place to sleep.
It may not have been nighttime yet but Galinda was already exhausted and once she had put her things away, she climbed into the bed. Elphaba remained by the door and after a few moments of silence, Galinda sighed as she glanced over at the tall green-skinned woman. “Come here and join me, Elphie?” Galinda blinked when she realized she had just given the woman a random nickname. “Can I call you Elphie?” She asked.
Elphaba blinked at the question. “It sounds…Yes,” Galinda smiled when Elphaba crawled next to her. After making sure that the emerald-skinned woman was comfortable, Galinda closed her eyes.

It had been a few weeks since they had started classes at Shiz and Galinda realized she needed to be touching some part of Elphaba. Most of the time, it was her hand and Galinda couldn’t help but enjoy how easily the other woman grew flustered at the attention she continued to receive from Galinda.
Once their classes were over, Elphaba gently rested her head against Galinda’s shoulder when they were at dinner. “Come on, Elphie, don’t forget to eat,” the blonde-haired woman didn’t want to wake up the tired woman but she wanted to make sure Elphaba ate something. Elphaba blinked away the tiredness enough so she would be able to eat. Once they had finished their food, Galinda didn’t mind staying at the cafeteria so Elphaba could take a small nap. I guess we will be sleeping early today. Galinda smiled at the thought as she gently shook Elphaba awake so they could walk back to their dorm.

The next morning, Galinda couldn’t even be embarrassed when she realized she cuddled Elphaba in their sleep. It also didn’t help that she found the taller green-skinned woman totally adorable. “Can I kiss you, princess?” Elphaba grew even more flustered at the question but she nodded her head. Galinda stared at the other woman and when she found what it was she was looking for, she gently pressed her lips against Elphaba’s chapped lips. They both gasped in the kiss as they felt electric sparks at the kiss. “Date night later?” Galinda asked.
“Yes,” Elphaba shyly responded.
