“Hermes!”
Athena adjusted her helmet, steeling herself for the challenge ahead. Surely, Hermes would be her toughest opponent yet. He was the god of tricksters, after all, and would certainly lie and cheat with a smile to get her to back down.
She was prepared, though. Even the god of tricksters couldn’t beat a warrior of the mind. She had her arguments pre-built and ready to tear him down–
“You don’t need to convince me. Release him.”
“...What?” she asked incredulously.
“Release him,” the other god repeated. “I like that guy. Wanna see him again.”
Athena sighed, and moved on.
