“It’s a four-leaf clover,” Balthazar replied, “It’s supposed to bring good luck!”
“Yes, I know,” Maxime replied, a smile creeping onto his face as he examined the small legume, “How did you find it? These are so rare..”
“I dunno, it was just there,” Balthazar replied, “Cool, right?”
“Mhm,” Maxime agreed. He kept staring at the clover in awe.
The pair stayed like that for a while, staring at the plant in Maxime’s hand.

Maxime Le Mal had just been imprisoned. He quickly developed a friendship with Felonius Gru, as well as his cellmate, Balthazar Bratt. He realized that he might have feelings for Gru, but decided to re-think them when Balthazar admits his own feelings
for Maxime.He manages to escape AVL's prison alongside Balthazar and Vector. They decide to get revenge on Gru, constructing a complicated plan in order to do so, but Maxime is against the idea.
