Summary
Akaashi Keiji has spent his life learning two things: how to fight and how to survive. As a servant in the Fukurodani court, he is given a mission, one that targets Bokuto Koutarou, the heir to one of the most powerful Daimyo families in the land.
Bokuto is everything Akaashi despises: privileged, untouchable, and oblivious to the suffering of those beneath him. Yet, as Akaashi draws closer, he realizes that Bokuto is not the arrogant noble he expected. He is lonely, reckless, and perhaps—just perhaps—not his enemy.
