Taĥmaki [Greeting, formal],
I am Atmakąno Naitĥuma, and I am honored to fill the role of one of the ambassadors for the Kamaĥnis people. I understand the gravity of this role, and that I have, to use- uh, a human turn of phrase, "big shoes to fill".
I know that I am young, and have much to learn, but I am forever grateful for the opportunity to stand here today, in the Ąnpaki [Stage/Stadium, a place for gatherings or entertainment], with all of you, valued members of the Kamaĥnis Embassy.
I'd like to thank everyone who helped me get here today, especially my Ĥanią [Parents, familial] and Ganiën [Elders, community, considered as parents]
As I'm sure many of you know, my first assignment will be with the Human people of Terra, the relatively new species within the alliance. I am excited to learn as much as I can about then, work with them and build relations for the good of our people together. I am to depart tomorrow, and join them on their home planet Terra for a week. This period aligns with a day of festivities known as "Christmas". I'm told it is similar to our Økaiën, but, well, I suppose I'll have to see for myself.
There will be many challenges, Terra is different from Panntĥura in many ways; however, I am willing and eager to overcome them and make a connection across the stars.
Salima Ønitĥ. [Thank you everyone.]

Atmakąno awakens in the morning to the blare of his alarm. The sun shines through his window, bathing the room in warm light. He sits up, turns his bed heater off, and clicks off the alarm clock. He grabs his tablet, and sees that today will be humid and warm. Perfect weather, he'd just shed his Yeĥa [Dry season] scales a few days ago. Panntĥura has an extremely variable climate, storms are common, wet seasons and dry seasons are in near constant flux. He throws on a Itĥama [a thin shirt] and a Deïan [shorts with woven thread adornments].
In front of a mirror, he picks a few dead gray scales off his face, checks his horns, and cleans his sharp teeth. He's mostly red with the undersides of his arms and stomach being a lighter shade of orange. He throws on a few bracelets, a gold horn ornament, and a necklace with a vibrant blue and green stone ring. He goes to leave but pauses for a moment. Am I forgetting something? Oh, right!
He opens a drawer and pulls out the silicon claw-caps, something required by the alliance during passenger transportation of any species with a claw hardness greater than 7.28 Hv. He heard all about it during orientation. He'd gotten a custom pair, azure blue, since the mint-green default ones looked like maĥatuą [Similar to porridge]. He never liked maĥatuą. Yuck. Plus the blue ones match his tongue.
He puts them on, and his shoes, slings his bag over his shoulder, and heads out the door, letting the wave of humidity hit him. He'd packed the night before for the trip, but first he is going out to meet with some friends from the embassy who would also be traveling.
He walks along the stone streets, passing by crimson-hued timber buildings. The sky has a faint violet hue, and nearly everywhere is bright crimson foliage, soaking up the K-type star's rays.
He meets up with his friends at Ruakis, a restaurant in the middle of the town. He finds them at a table and sits down.
One of his friends turns to greet him. "Taĥkaaa! [Greeting, informal] Human guy!" He has dull green scales, heavier-set, and appears to be a bit older. There's a red gash on his right arm.
"Here I am!– woah, what happened to your arm, Ønik?" Replies Atmakąno.
"Sparring, I'm fine, got me good though eh?"
"Ahaha...yeahhh" Atmakąno had never been into sparring, even since he was young, despite it being a common practice among his people. He'd train, but never fight.
The other Kmaĥnis at the table waves "Hi Atmakąno!" She has blue scales, with curved horns.
"Hi Kami!" replies Atmakąno.
"So, got an interesting one eh?" says Kami, "You're probably the first Kamaĥnis to interact with them, maybe even the first other species honestly. They're so new, I'm so jealous!"
"Haha, yeah, it's not all great though, they don't have much space infrastructure yet, just an outpost on their moon and another planet, they don't even have an orbital tether! I'll have to land old school."
Ønik playfully bumps him on the shoulder, "I'm sure you'll be fine, just don't burn up and die!" He lets out a hearty chuckle.
"Haha I'll do my best."
He stays and chats for a while, orders some food, and then departs to make his ship.
He takes the monorail to the station, a large metal building with open prairie on all sides. As the monorail gets closer, He sees a passenger ship take off and dock with the orbital tether, before disappearing into the upper atmosphere.
Lugging his suitcase inside, he's met with a sea of beings, various species from across the galaxy. Advertisements are plastered on the walls in Kamaĥnis, and a few other languages he doesn't speak.
'Ꮘநꛓநꚢ ᑶꕦᏅᐑꚢநᑶ ꚢᏅનᑶल! ꛓਫਫ ꚢਨਫ ꛓளਫᐑநள Ꮘநꛓꚢᑶꛓ!'
Sounds nice, maybe after.
He makes his way to the desk to check in, and the Kamaĥnis there takes his ticket. After a rather lengthy security checkpoint, he heads to the ship. He sits down in his seat, a rather luxurious personal booth paid for by the embassy. While waiting for the tether to come around, he gets a message on his tablet.
'Good luck, you're gonna do great! -Ĥanią'ka [Mother]'
He smiles. The ship takes off, and the tether eventually comes around. The ship is lifted off, past the atmosphere, and slingshot into the great beyond.
