Anon's Unfinished/Cancelled Fic Collection

Summary:

A set of fiction that ended up being unfinished or cancelled for various reasons, mostly because of writing block and burnout.

Since they were written couple of months ago (at the time of releasing this), they do not represent the quality of my finished work or my level of skill when it comes to writing.

Chapter 1: Provisional Feelings (Sequel to Always There For You)

Chapter Text

X Agent couldn’t help but notice that Sheep was still not feeling himself. Even after their peaceful and hopeful night, Sheep just remained quiet and barely bleated a word; only responding when asked essential questions.

X Agent walked over to Sheep and quietly bleated to him, trying not to scare him. “Sheep?”

Unfortunately, as much as X Agent tried, Sheep was caught by surprise since he wasn’t paying much attention to the world around him. “GAH-,” He gasped before noticing a very worried X Agent. “Oh, so sorry about that.”

“No no, no need to apologize,” X Agent soothed. “Though, I noticed that you hadn’t been feeling like yourself recently…”

“I know, sweetie… I can’t help but feel that way and I don’t understand why,” Sheep acknowledged before starting to panic. “Despite all the effort you put into to make myself feel better, I just had to make it a waste by not feeling better!”

“Sheep, don’t be so hard on yourself,” X Agent soothed. “It’s okay to not be okay and that makes us sheep. All that matters is that we tried our best…”

Sheep gave a small sigh before frowning, “I suppose… But I don’t want to feel like shit and I’m worried about it! What if it won’t go away? What if it will last forever? What if I may never feel happy again? X Agent, I don’t know what to do! I JUST DON’T KNOW!!!”

Before Sheep could burst into tears, X Agent held him tightly. Sheep was processing about what just happened, before slowly began to embrace the hug that his husband was giving him. He remembered how warm and comforting it was when X Agent gave him one last night, and that made Sheep feel a little better about the situation. At this point, Sheep will take any amount of positivity just to get away from his depression.

X Agent began to speak up and share his bleats of comfort, “Sheep, emotions don’t last forever. Your fear and worries will eventually go away. Will it be sooner or later? It doesn’t matter. What does matter is that you’ll feel better, and I will forever promise you that…”

Right after X Agent said that, Sheep held onto him tighter, not wanting to let him go in the slight and keep his encouraging care into his hoofs as long as possible.

“Do you… Promise that?” Sheep quietly asked.

X Agent gave a little smile, “I promise you that.” Sheep slowly nodded as he continued to hug gray-wooled sheep.

“Thank you, X Agent,” He quietly thanked.

“I said it before and I’ll say it again: I really needed it. You can always talk to me at any time, Sheep.” X Agent soothed.
