I Hate You More

Summary:

“Even after all the passionate kissing and hickey giving, one thing didn’t change and never will; they still hated each other more than anyone in the world.”

OR: Draco and Harry hate each other’s guts, so obviously they make out.

I’ve given up on caring like I should be sleeping but I wrote this instead so obviously I’ve just like lost my mind (hence why I wrote a drarry fic of them just angrily and passionately making out)

Notes:

Shsjebsjbsj this is like not written well because I should be sleeping and it was written in the span of like 40-50 minutes butttt I hope you enjoy nonetheless:)

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Harry stormed out of the classroom, it was mainly empty already since the lesson had just ended. So he really didn’t care who he was embarrassing himself in front of, actually, he didn’t care at all. He was done with Draco and his stupid insults and perfect hair.

Draco had not only poking fun at Harry, but also his friends. It all happened so quick; Draco just needed to say something rude and condescending in hopes to get a laugh from a few people and a reaction out of anyone who was getting made fun of. He just couldn’t take it, his face felt warm and his fists clenched. Just as Draco began to laugh and Heromione had shouted something about ‘not giving him the reaction he wants’ Harry had already swung the door open.

He didn’t mean to slam the door as loud as he did. But with all the blood that had rushed to his head, he didn’t even notice all that much in the moment.

He continued his way down the hallway, it was surprisingly empty. He turned a corner, fists still in a tight grip; he slowly slid down the wall and just wallowed in his emotions. He felt almost embarrassed since he knew that his outburst was inappropriate and he could’ve handled it better. But he couldn’t take it back now so what’s the point in caring. He could almost still hear Draco and his friend laughing at and mocking him.

But before he could even finish shakily fixing his glasses, he had heard footsteps making their way down the hallway.

He looked up and saw a tall and lean figure with light, blonde hair.

It was Draco. The one person he didn’t want to see right now, especially in such a horribly vulnerable state like this; shaky and red.

“Malfoy.” The brown haired boy managed to mutter with attitude.

“Potter,” he rolled his eyes. “Are you done throwing a fit?”

Harry massaged the skin under his eyes, god Draco knew how to piss him off. He collected himself before he said something he’d regret later on.

“Look-“ the blonde started, “I’m not here to start anything.”

Harry shot him a questioning look.

“I’m here to check on you…” Draco scratched the back of his neck, he spoke softly out of embarrassment. “I’ve just, never seen you angry like that.”

But, Harry still felt like being petty and bitter, no matter if this was a kind gesture (which is very unusual for Draco).

“Thanks.” He replied, monotone and sarcastic. “Well, if you couldn’t tell I’m great now, but I’d be better if you weren’t here so.” He smirked at the boy who stood opposite him, he could tell he was really working him up.

Harry began to stand up, brushing off any dirt or dust on his uniform. Draco looked like he could punch him right in the face in any second.

He took a step closer,

“You could’ve answered with a lot less attitude, couldn’t you have?” Draco grimaced, trying to make Harry just as agitated as he had made him. He slowly backed the slightly shorter boy into a corner while doing so.

Harry’s face began to warm up, but not entirely for the same reason as before.

“Did I hurt your feelings?” Harry playfully winced, teasing Draco who was already annoyed and fed up. But, now they’re even.

Draco rolled his eyes. Harry was completely pushed against the wall at this point, he felt his back hit the stone, that’s when he only now realized what had just happened.

“Shut up.” Draco still smirked although how ticked off he really was, this was still amusing to him nonetheless.

“Make me.” Harry teased back, knowing they probably should’ve stopped by now and gone to class.

Draco bit his lip slightly, looking down at Harry’s lips, then back up to his eyes. Harry had his suspicions about what was going to happen, but there was nothing he could do, not that he didn’t mind it happening…

Draco gave into all his inner thoughts and lingering desires. He pressed his lips firmly against Harry’s. He rested one hand on Harry’s cheek and the other in his hair, ruffling it with his fingers, causing it to end up a tousled mess. He then pinned his knee in between Harry’s legs. Harry’s glasses had been pushed up from Draco, making them sit uncomfortably on his face.

Harry shut his eyes at this sudden embrace as he gripped onto Draco’s shoulder. He knew it was wrong, but that’s almost what made it so thrilling. Besides, it wasn't anything serious.

They both took a gasp of air, but immediately went back in. Draco slipped his tongue into Harry’s mouth as they went back at it, catching him off guard. But, he didn’t mind. The taste of Draco’s mouth had made its way to Harry’s; he tasted of apples and coffee.

Harry pulled away, causing Draco to stare questioningly. “We can’t be doing this.” His voice was messy, he almost stumbled over his words and his voice was quite hoarse. He attempted to catch his breath as he licked his lips (which still had tasted like Draco.)

Draco grazed his thumb over Harry’s lips, “so tell me to stop.” He sneered.

“Fair.” Harry shrugged.

Their lips connected again. They didn’t care how messy and ruthless it all was, it was satisfactory either way. Their tongues had made their way to touching again, sharing each other's saliva. Harry put a hand onto Draco’s neck, not being able to leave it in one spot his hand began running up and down, causing Draco to smirk.

Draco then bit down onto the other boys lip, causing a flustered and shocked Harry to slightly whimper. Harry instantly reddened at the mere sound of himself. On the other hand, it had caused a shiver to go down Draco’s spine. The smug blondes hand had tightened its grip on the shorter boy's waist.

Harry took a breath, “God I hate you. So much.” He hissed, his eyes feeling heavy with how long they’ve been closed, he stared up at Draco who was smirking.

“I hate you too.” Draco teased, knowing it would tick off Harry even more, making this thrilling moment to last even longer.

Harry pulled Draco in this time, he grabbed onto his tie and dragged him closer. They kissed deeper than before. Their hatred for one another practically fueled this.

They could feel the heat from each other's bodies radiating onto their own. Both of them were flustered and warm. Draco felt himself getting tired and more lazy, but he couldn’t just stop; he realized this and moved his lips down to the side of Harry’s face, then lower, then down to his neck. Harry tightened the hand that was rested in his hair, gripping onto his blonde strands. Draco moaned into the kisses especially at the sudden tugging at his roots.

Draco had left multiple red marks on his neck, not caring if it would piss Harry off. I mean, that’s what gave him satisfaction, was it not?

Once Draco had pulled his lips off of Harry’s now bruised neck, he stared down at Harry and licked his teeth.

Harry immediately picked up his hand and ran it over his neck, “so help me god..” Harry began, knowing that very obvious marks had been left on his nape. And all Draco could do in response was wink and laugh.

Harry rolled his eyes. “Well, we should get to class before Snape literally kills us.” He pushed Draco’s shoulder as a way to tell him to get off of him.

“I guess so,” Draco whined, moving away from Harry.

They began walking down the hallway as Draco put a hand around Harry’s waist. But this act was quickly turned down as Harry slapped his hand away, getting a snobby scoff out of Draco.

Eventually, they had made their way to the classroom they were supposed to be in about twenty minutes ago. Their faces still hot, lips still red, hair all ruffled, and ties loose as they opened the door with a loud creak.

Everyone’s heads turned to look at the two boys who just interrupted. Panic arised in both of them as they could feel everyone whispering and glaring, Harry was quick to cover up his neck.

“You’re late. And interrupting my lesson.” Snape announced, giving the both of them a rude look.

“Sorry sir.” Harry apologized, both of them frozen in fear.

“Now what is it that you two were doing that was more important than being in my class?” He raised an eyebrow.

The both of them stumbled, Harry tried to cover up each mark on his neck, but that was only one of the obvious hints on what had happened before they had arrived.

“You know what, it’s obvious enough and I don’t care, take a seat. But that’s twenty house points from both Gryffindor and Slytherin.” The two of them gave an annoyed look to each other.

“Why’d we even show up.” Draco mumbled to himself, although he knew Harry heard and would respond.

“I’m asking you, Malfoy.” He mumbled back, as he took a seat like instructed.

Draco scribbled something on a piece of paper, crumbled it up, then passed it over to Harry.

The paper read; “same time tomorrow?” Harry rolled his eyes and crumbled it back up.

He then mouthed to Draco from the opposite side of the room, “I hate you.”

Draco smirked and pointed to his neck, obviously mocking the bruises he had given him, and mouthed back to him “sure you do! But I hate you more.” He shot Harry his stupid shit eating grin, especially since he wouldn’t be shocked if they ended up doing it again.

Even after all the passionate kissing and hickey giving, one thing didn’t change and never will; they still hated each other more than anyone in the world.
