"Merlin is a pretty crier. That’s it, that’s the prompt."
I absolutely loved this idea—and it’s perfect because I’ve always wanted to draw Merlin crying tears of gold! I just never had the right mindset before, haha. Your prompt finally gave me the push to make it happen!
I actually had to create a whole new piece because the first one didn’t feel Merthur enough—Arthur was nowhere to be seen—and I was afraid it wouldn’t qualify. I know this is a pretty simple piece—I thought about adding a microfic to go with it, but I worried my words might take away from it. So instead, I’ll let you interpret it however you like!
I had so much fun painting this—honestly, this is the prettiest I’ve ever drawn Merlin. I really hope you like it!
