Summary
Budding archaeologist Aziraphale has always had an interest in the monsters of myth, feeling a strange kinship with them as someone who doesn’t quite fit into stifling Victorian society. A seemingly common artifact retrieved on a recent dig brings her face-to-face (almost) with one of the creatures of legend, and to her surprise she discovers that she is just as lonely as she is.
