Chapter 1

Chapter Text

What was wrong with her? Why couldn't she do anything right? She felt like she was useless. Her limbs were unstable, her joints were weak, and her system was damaged. She was useless.

She stood in silence as the human lady yelled at her for dropping a plate, she was being as careful as she possibly could, and yet she was suffering the consequences of something that was an accident! Why couldn't she be like the other drones? The ones that were actually useful? When the human stopped yelling, she blew a punch to Cyn'd visor, leaving a crack on its surface. It hurt, a lot. No, drones aren't supposed to feel pain, they were cold, soulless, work machines. She waited silently for the human to leave the room, and she slowly made her way to the library, she already knew who was in there. "Big brother, N?" N looked up when he heard Cyn's voice,she sounded sad... "What's wrong little buddy?" He asked her softly, but his entire demeanor changed when he saw the crack on her visor "Who did this to you?" He asked in a sharp and serious tone "Miss Louisa." Oh that bitch was so dead... "And tell me why she did this to you?" Cyn looked up at N, her expression full of shame "Because i dropped a plate..." All that because of a single plate!? That was downright insane! N gently grabbed Cyn and pulled her onto his lap, holding her close to him. "Its not your fault buddy, it was an accident." He spoke softly, as a way to assure her she wasnt in trouble. "Big brother?" "Yeah?" N wondered what Cyn would ask him, but he didn't expect what she was about to say "Am i useless?" His heart sank "What? No! Of course not!" Cyn looked up at him with teary eyes "But i make mistakes and annoy others, im useless compared to the rest of the drones here." "Cyn that is not true. Accidents happen, okay?" He felt his shoulder get wet, poor thing was crying... He hummed a soft tune, and gently rocked her back and forth. "How can you even love me?" Cyn chocked out through tears. This just broke N's heart, hearing her talk about herself like this. Her ran his hand through her long gray hair "I love you Cyn, i dont care."

"You bitch! Thinking you can hurt Cyn like that! What do you have to say, huh!?" N kept on smacking the human, not realizing she was knocked unconscious, he stood up and spit on her (can drones even spit?) before walking back to the library.

"Big brother?" Cyn noticed the strange red liquid on N's suit "What is that strange red liquid?" N froze, how could he explain this? "Its uhhh... Ketchup!" Wow N! Great excuse! "But isnt ketchup a bit less, watery?" Crap "If ketchup isnt used for a while it can become watery, that's why humans shake it before using it!" Certified genius.

"Where is Ms Louisa?" Fuck "She's sick! She's at the hospital!" "What's wrong with her" "She's constipated!" Well she is full of shit-
