Summary
When Osamu presents as an alpha during their first year at Inarizaki High, both twins picture a different future for themselves, both together and separately because now they are no longer the same as each other.
“It’s our birthday.”
Atsumu stopped mid-swoon and realized that yes, it was. But he had also prepared for this!!
He pulled out two matching ‘awesome alpha’ keyrings from under his pillow.
“Got this for when I present as an alpha too. I don’t like not matchin’ with ya so I am tryin’ to will my first rut to come sooner!” Atsumu said as he fastened the metal objects to their keys.
“Oh. Yeah…” Osamu said and looked crestfallen for a moment before he quickly schooled his features. Atsumu caught that subtle moment, however, but he couldn’t understand Osamu’s oddly disappointed expression. Didn’t he want them to be identical again? That punk!
“Look, I get that ya want ta be the alpha stud around here, but there’s room for two at the top. But I’ll play yer Lord Osamu the Alpha games since it’s our birthday.”
