Summary
Oliver Pines lives an unremarkable life doing little but tend to his shop of antique and rare books -- until he fails to close up his shop on time and is kidnapped by a ruthless vampire. He ends up in an auction house where humans are processed into docile, hypnotized thralls for vampire consumption.
Oliver, mesmerized into being the perfect thrall, finds himself in the hands of a reclusive and possessive vampire with a siren song voice, a dangerous situation from which he can't escape -- and soon, he might not even want to.
