Summary
When some kid stole a bunch of reptile books from the library last year, Beth Novak chalked it up to another weird happenstance in her small town. She never expected said kid to reappear when working at the Starcourt Mall's bookstore over the summer. Especially not with her high school's fallen king, Steve Harrington. As Beth grows more suspicious of their strange activity, she finds herself more and more drawn to her former classmate.
