Nick chuckled as Charlie stomped around the flat.
“Time zones are homophobic!” he grumbled, checking his phone every 5 minutes.
“What’s going on?”
“Nothing… nothing,” came Charlie’s elusive reply.
Nick raised an eyebrow. “You sure?”
“Ugh. Fine. My favourite author is supposed to release a new chapter today, but they live on the other side of the world, and they always release it when I’m asleep or at work.”
“Homophobic indeed,” Nick chuckled. “It's Saturday so no work today… maybe we can just find something productive to do while you wait?”
A sly grin crossed Charlie’s face. “Something? Or Someone?”
