“So, I mapped out the park in advance,” Vox said as he spread open a colorful map of Loo Loo Land out over the table once their dishes had been cleared. “And I’ve labeled all of the things we have to do, in order of what’s most important.”
Husk studied the map. “That one’s marked twice.”
“Yes, that’s the Vomit Comet,” Vox replied, tapping it thoughtfully. “It’s supposed to be the most gruesome, stomach-churning rollercoaster in the whole park and, yes, we will be riding it more than once.”
“Doesn’t it like jump off the tracks at one point and drop into a pool of mercury?” Velvette asked, taking a picture of the map. Vox shook his head.
“No, no. You’re thinking of Jumping the Shark.” He tapped a separate part of the map. “That’s over here. We’ll do that, too, of course.”
