Chapter Text
To say Nico was tired was an understatement. To be fair, tired was Nico’s basic answer to how he felt on most days. So it was better to say that everyone around him was tired and he was tired2, but Nico was bad at math so he was just super tired.
On top of that it was raining and he had just been thrown out of his new routine. First time in years he had an actual routine that wasn’t just the way he got up in the morning and what he did before bed. It was stable and he’d actually managed to get a life.
Sure to most people it wasn’t a normal life, he was a demigod after all – now though he was also a wizard. After Annabeth, Grover and Percy had convinced Hecate to reopen her school Will and Nico have attended. It started with them taking mortal classes at camp and adding some magic to diversify their fighting and knowledge. More of a hobby or a survival tactic than an actual school program.
That was a year and a half ago and at this point it is very much school to them. Both of them still keep up with mortal school, but magic is interesting and has an entire world of its own, and not just the greek and romans either.
Hecate’s school of magic is amazing and the students are diverse in culture, species and opinions. The one thing tying them together was magic and the wish to learn. They became a tight knit community that might not always agree about everything, but always had each other's backs.
That fact is the reason all the students agreed on an exchange year with hogwarts. Though at this point they were all suffering the consequences of their own actions with a fucking jet leg.
Teagan lets out a sigh, “No hate Elijah, but I already hate this.” they are soaked so badly that they create a new puddle on the floor with every step they take.
“How can there be no hate if you already hate it?” The grin on Cecil’s face made it clear he was purposefully being an idiot.
“Shut the fuck up! It’s way to fucking early in the morning to deal with your bullshit.” Teagan’s temper was most people's favorite and least favorite about them. Sure they were funny when they were slightly pissed off, but if they got really pissed off they might lose control of their human form and accidentally kill you. Dragons were big, can breath fire and most of them weren't all too fond of water.
“Let's all just take a breath and make it to the platform on time.” Arya’s soft voice cut of the argument in the making.
“Guys, people are staring.” Will looked slightly concerned.
“That’s because we are a bunch of kids with different accents screaming at eachother while pushing around a shit ton of luggage while one of us is making the maintenance workers wish they had killed themselves.” Nico shrugged.
“Yeah, I don’t think they are aware of the four Demi-gods, dragon, naiad, aura, werewolf and four wizards passing by.” Cecil grinned.
“Maybe they are now that you said it.” Lou Ellen said clearly not caring either way.
“Also is it speciesism to refer to all of us as something different and call the wizards wizards?” Nico yawned as he said it.
“I don’t care.” Lisa declared her pastel pink and blue hair falling into her eyes. “What I am wondering about is the term naiad. When someone says naiad I think of pretty water girls, not Zach.”
“That sounds like a you problem.” Zachs yawn overtook half of his sentence and was copied by at least half the group.
“We need to run though that wall.” Elijah pointed at a section of bricks.
“Never mind Elijah, all the fucking hate.” Teagan didn’t look pissed though, they looked bored.
“Let’s just get it over with.” Tabitha shoved Elijah in the back. Elijah in turn just rolled his eyes and ran through the wall.
“Oh shit, I thought he was just trying to fuck with us.” Anita said.
“Should we fuck with him and not go though ourselves?” Zion took a large sip of their coffee.
“Let’s not.” Arya was next through the wall.

Finding a spot in the train was shockingly difficult, finding a silent space was impossible. As soon as they found a spot Lou Ellen threw up a silencing spell and they all let out a breath.
“The train ride is going to take a while, which means we have time to change and I can prepare you for what is going to happen.” Elijah started in as soon as the train left.
“Change?” Lisa.
“Yeah.” Elijah started explaining about houses and uniforms. This year was going to suck.
