When she finally turned to him, he noticed two things. She was paler than usual, looking very tired. And there was concern on her face. Her next words were burned into his memory forever. “They have Q, James. They’ve taken him and we can’t find him. We need your help.”During the events of Spectre, Q gets taken and nearly dies. Shaken by the events and afraid that something like this might happen again because of him, James leaves. He'd rather stay away from Q, even if it's killing him, than to be the reason for him being in danger. But when Q gets kidnapped again anyway, he returns to get him back. On his way back to London, James thinks of how he and Q got together in the first place and all the events that led to him leaving. - 00Q
