Work Text:
Four had been spending too much time preparing for the next episode of BFB. So much so that when X called Four to eat dinner, he was completely ignored. Time had passed and shortly, it was midnight. Four’s stomach growled, which snapped him out of his focus with how loud it was. They decided to go down to the kitchen and see what there was to eat.
Four went down the kitchen, being very quiet as to not wake up their best friend. They opened the fridge and found..nothing. The other algebraliens must’ve raided X’s cooking, after all, them and X were amazing at cooking or anything culinary. The only thing left untouched was the cake Four made for Cake at Stake, mostly because they told the other algebraliens they’d screech them if they even opened the box.
Four looked at the cake with temptation and licked their lips. No! They COULDN’T!! That was the cake for Cake at Stake, if they messed up their last opportunity to host BFB, they’d feel horrible!! The contestants wouldn’t mind if their cake was a little smaller, would they?
Four took a small slice of cake, and absolutely devoured it. Then they took another slice. and another. and another. Soon the cake was gone, which confused Four. They could’ve sworn they had more self-control than this. At least they were full, which left them with enough energy to make another cake.
It took them a bit to get up, since they were really full but once they did they checked the pantry and..did not find any ingredients. Shoot!! They must’ve used the last of the ingredients to make the cake they just ate. Now what were they going to do? They stressed about what this until they realized- what if they distracted the contestants so they didn’t realize there was no cake?
They ran to their room to pace around. what could be a good distraction? A show? Jokes? A song? A-a SONG!! If they could write a song to annouce the eliminated contestant, then no one would notice they didn’t bring the cake!! They started to get to work on lyrics, a decent beat, and VOILA!! They were sleep deprived and had stomach issues from being too full, but that didn’t matter- he decided to make a backup song, just in case the song didnt last too long.
After he finished off the song, he lazily walked over to his bed and passed out before he even touched it.
Hopefully, the song worked out. And hopefully, they didn’t find out about his mistake.
