Chapter Text

“OKAY, THAT’S ENOUGH!”

A pair of red, bloodshot eyes glared hatefully at the eleven students in the common room. The teacher glared angrily at his students and put his hands on his hips as he faced down every one of his kids.

“Aizawa Sensei? Is something wrong?” After a silence Izuku (Deku) had been brave enough to speak.

“Shut up, problem child,” Aizawa growled at Deku. He addressed the entire class. “It’s three AM and you’re still playing video games? You’re going to graduate soon and be real heroes, and yet you think it’s alright for you to fool around like this?”

Sato scratched his head in a sheepish manner. “Oh, it’s already three AM? That’s surprising. Sorry Sensei, we’ll stop.”

Aizawa shook his head. “I’ll stop is not enough. You need to pay for your crimes.”

“Pay for our…Sensei, are you okay?” Uraraka spoke with a soft voice, quickly standing up from her seat on the couch. “Maybe we should get some Tylenol out…”

This only annoyed Aizawa more. “All of you, go to your rooms, now! I’ll talk to all you tomorrow. Eight AM, come on time. You already know what will happen to you if you’re late.”

With that optimistic and uplifting message, the students went to bed.

When Deku entered the common room to eat breakfast, Uraraka was already there, along with Momo, Iida, Tsu, and Shoji.

“Deku! You’re up!” Uraraka smiled at him cheerfully as she handed him a bowl of steaming miso soup with some rice on the side.

“Thanks,” He mumbled quietly as the sleepy boy rubbed his eyes and solemnly grabbed a spoon.

Momo handed him some chopsticks and placed some leftover fish from the dinner before onto a plate. “Uraraka told me how late you all were playing video games last night. I’m surprised you’re even up now, to be honest. Four hours of sleep is not healthy for you.”

Iida looked at him, the displeasure in his eyes evident. “I’m so disappointed in you, Midoriya. You’re supposed to be a leader: you should have told them to stop at an appropriate time.”

“Sorry, Iida,” Deku muttered quietly, taking a sip of soup, and eating some rice with it. “It was my fault.”

The glasses boy sighed and took a chunk of fish from the plate, eating it with some rice. “It’s alright, fellow classmate. We all make mistakes! Why, just the other day I…” He continued, but Deku was too tired to care.

“Sorry!” Uraraka whispered quietly, putting down her glass of water. “But I haaad to tell them, you know? Apparently, Momo woke up, and I just haaad to tell her. Oh, I’m such a bad friend!”

He smiled at her. “Don’t worry about it. They would have found out anyways.”

The minutes flew by, the girls making the conversation steadily go by. Soon their classmates walked in and began eating breakfast, like Jirou (Hey, have you seen Pikachu? He stole my brand-new rock album), Todoroki (Do we have soba? For lunch? Okay.) and Tokoyami (Did Dark Shadow really join you? He sucks at games.)

The clock bell rung, and it was eight o’clock.

Slowly, Aizawa walked out of his cocoon, looking like a yellow caterpillar. “Is everyone here?”

Iida shook his head. “No, Bakugo and Mineta are still asleep. But everyone else --eighteen of us-- are up.”

“Thank you, class president,” Aizawa drawled out in a raspy voice. “Yaoyorozu, please get Bakugo and Mineta. The eleven of you who I scolded last night, living room, now.”

There was an awkward pause before people began shuffling around, moving to get to the couches. Forks were placed on tables, conversations slowed, and heads turned as the yellow caterpillar sat on the special chair made just for him.

“After some thinking,” Aizawa paused in a slightly dramatic, slightly dire manner, “I have decided to give you all: that is, the eleven idiots that were up, a punishment.”

A hush of whispers quickly started until they saw their teacher’s face, then the room quickly quieted.

“You will be transported to the Might Wilderness, a wilderness that is known for its wild beasts, intense temperatures, and for training All Might into the hero he is today.”

The children gulped nervously as their teacher continued. “You will take no food, water, or supplies with you. The Might Wilderness is on the other side of the world, in Kyrgyzstan, and that is where you’ll be staying UNTIL I FIND THAT YOU’VE PAID FOR YOUR CRIMES.”

“What?!” Kaminari protested, wide awake. He rubbed at the little drool that had occurred during his sleep. “Sensei, that’s gonna cut into our precious spring break time!”

“Yeah!” Mina put her hands on her hips. “You can’t take away our spring break!”

Their voices quieted down when they caught a whiff of their teacher’s face.

“you.”

Another gulp.

“don’t.”

A mouse scampered away.

“tell.”

The kettle finished boiling the water and Momo nervously poured some hot water into a few cups.

“me.”

A shout in the distance.

“what.”

All eleven kids sat down.

“to.”

They covered their heads.

“do.”

Uraraka sighed. “He’s probably up, huh?”

SLAM!

“SHUT UP! YOU LITTLE MONSTER, FOUR EYES BRAT, FRIGGING GLASSES NERD-”

Bakugo, too, froze at the sight of his teacher’s face. Aizawa might have had a cut-off leg, dark circles under his baggy eyes, and only one working eye, but he could still kick butt.

Deku shifted uncomfortably as he covered his head. “Three… two… one...”

“AARRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!”

So that was how twelve kids found themselves in the middle of nowhere. And how three kids ended up fighting a bunch of wild beasts.

“DIE!!!” Bakugo yelled aggressively as he smacked one of the beasts with an explosion.

The monster roared and smacked Bakugo back.

“Kacchan? Are you okay?” Deku reached out to Bakugo with worried eyes, shrinking back when he saw the expression on his childhood friend’s face.

“I’m fine, dumb Deku,” Bakugo sneered at him with harsh eyes as he stood up and continued blasting the beasts with explosions.

Uraraka yelled out, “Hey, Deku, behind you!”

Deku turned and was faced with the biggest monster of them all: what he considered to be the “king” of the pack.

“DELAWARE SMASH!” With a loud yell, he punched the monster until it fainted and collapsed.

“Good job, Deku- ahh!” Uraraka spun around once she felt the monster’s breath and activated her quirk on the ones now in front of her, releasing them when they were around a hundred feet in the air.

Both kids high fived each other as the last of the explosions Bakugo had released ended, with the final two monsters falling to the ground in defeat.

“Is that the last of them around our camp?” Uraraka asked Deku, whose danger sense had told them where the monsters were.

He paused for a moment. “I think so.”

The young girl sighed and retied her ponytail. “How about we go to camp, then?”

Deku turned around to Bakugo. “Sounds fine, Uraraka. Kacchan, what do you think?”

Bakugo scoffed in an annoyed tone and grudgingly agreed. “You cold, cheeks?” He placed his jacket over her bare shoulders before kicking the leaves in front of him so he could walk to their camp.

Uraraka looked at him in surprise. “Huh? Oh, thanks, Bakugo!” She glanced at her green haired friend. “Cmon, let’s go!”

Deku frowned suspiciously before mumbling to himself.”That was nice of him. I wonder…”

When the twelve students had been dropped off at the Might Wilderness, blind folded and nauseous from the shaky helicopter ride, (Aizawa had purposedly chosen a rocky helicopter which had backfired since many of the kids began throwing up) they had not expected the area to be occupied with trees and flooded with monsters that thrived in the darkness. Todoroki and Deku put their dizzy heads together and came up with a simple plan that involved three teams.

Team one was a small but very powerful team; consisting of Uraraka, Bakugo and Deku, who worked to kill all the monsters in the forest surrounding the area where team two was setting camp.

Team two consisted of Jirou, Kaminari, Kirishima, Mina, and Sero, aka the Bakusquad without Bakugo. Their job was to clear land, make beds, and create a table where the twelve kids could sit. Mina and Kirishima worked to cut down trees, while Sero created a table with the wood and his tape. Jirou and Kaminari worked to make beds.

And team three had the hardest job of all. Satou, Todoroki, Ojiro, and Toru were tasked with the job of finding food, cooking it, and making it edible. Unfortunately for them, there were rarely any animals that dared to come near the wild wilderness, and the ones that did live in the area were very powerful and hard to kill. Therefore Ojiro, Todoroki, and Toru were given the job to cut down any meat and find veggies from the rough terrain, and Satou attempted to make a fire. With sticks.

So, when Deku, Uraraka and Bakugo arrived at the campsite after fighting the beasts for a few hours, they were pleased to see a good amount of progress achieved. Satou’s fire was coming along, not huge but existent. Mina and Kirishima had managed to clear a decently sized plot of land. Jirou and Kaminari had gathered a huge amount of pine tree leaves and were now arguing on what to do next. Sero was almost done with his table.

Deku immediately began mediating the argument between Jirou and Kaminari, helping them build beds, while Uraraka helped Sero finish and move his table. Bakugo worked with Mina and Kirishima to yeet all the leftover wood into the areas of the forest, and soon enough the dream team of Ojiro, Todoroki, and Toru came back with food. Veggies, yes, but… at least they had some food.

Satou and Bakugo worked together, while bickering, to cook the food. With some clever thinking, Mina made a bucket by hollowing out a piece of wood, and Todoroki made water by melting his ice.

Eventually, after an intense argument, Jirou and Kaminari, along with Deku, managed to figure out a solution and make beds. Uraraka used her quirk to move the table next to the fire, and they ate some charred veggies on a stick.

None of the kids had supplies, but it was getting dark, so they all agreed to get ready for bed. Deku made a game plan for the next day: making supplies for cooking, cleaning, and drinking, as well as making an actual tent and killing some animals to skin and eat meat. With the last of Deku’s mutterings fading out, the kids all said good night to one another and fell asleep.

Little did they know that the peace in the camp was disturbed quicker than they had ever imagined.
