Summary
Stiles is still reeling from Derek’s abandonment months after their relationship fell apart. When Derek unexpectedly shows up at his door following a breakup of his own, Stiles is forced to confront the heartbreak he never got closure for. When Derek left without warning, he was convinced he was doing the right thing by walking away before he could destroy what they had. But the distance only reveals how much he truly lost, how much. When he returns, desperate and aching, he finds Stiles still smoldering with pain and close to being broken.
