Mika and Apandah were laying down in a hotel room together, Schlatt and Aztro a room over because Schlatt decided he wanted to be cheap and only get two rooms in the shitty hotel they found themselves in. Schlatt refused to share a room with Apandah for "obvious reasons", and didn't want to be annoyed by Mika in the middle of the night, so he shared a room with Aztro for the night.
Mika didn't have a problem with sharing a room with Panda, it was just... Apandah can't really be trusted alone with someone. Mika was kind of used to it, he's definitely been a victim to Panda's weird comments and jokes before, so even if something did happen, it wouldn't be too unexpected.
Apandah loved the idea of staying with Mika for the night, much better than having to deal with Schlatt all night. He even started a bet with Aztro, debating on whether him and Mika would do any freaky shit. Aztro was about to make big money, heavily believing Mika would never, especially with him.
Panda may have forgotten about the bet the moment they got comfortable, but he'll remember eventually.. In a day or two.
They had been laying in bed together, there was another bed in the room, but Apandah couldn't care less, already balled up like a cat next to Mika.
"Hey Panda..?"
"..."
"Panda?"
Mika sat up a little, trying not to move around too much, tapping Apandah on the shoulder.
"Wh– What is it, man–.."
Apandah held back a yawn, glancing over at Mika with blurry vision, wiping his eyes for a second.
Mika couldn't help but laugh at him a little, though he quickly stopped and looked down at Panda.
"So... I have a question for you."
"Yeah–?"
"Would you rather be a squirrel or–"
Before he could finish the question, Apandah threw an extra pillow at his face, tired of this stupid fucking question. He asks this question every other week, it was one of the only things Mika did that pissed Apandah off.
"Shut up.."
"Wait, but you didn't hear the full question–!"
"I know what it is, Mika.."
Mika wanted to keep the bit running, acting oblivious and biting his tongue to keep himself from laughing and breaking character, pushing the pillow to the side.
"No, I promise, it's a new thing, I wouldn't– I wouldn't re-tell jokes."
Apandah just laid back down, closing his eyes and trying to tone out Mika's voice. Getting comfortable would be harder now that Mika was gonna be talking his mouth off about some stupid squirrels and mice..
It wasn't the best sleep he'd had, but it wasn't the worst. All curled up in bed, laying next to your friend, gave him some extra comfort knowing Mika was right there. Not in a weird way, just– just if anything happened in the middle of the night, he would know where Mika was, you know?
