October 30th 20XX
Last day on the array. I’ll never come back to this fucking place. It will be shut down for police investigations, and needless to say STOLAS is PISSED. They already said my contract’s been terminated, and that they’ll be sending me back to Norway today. Dr. Ríos came to pick me up and then take me to the airport in Phoenix.
Yesterday at night, I was taking a bath, there was a blackout. Dr. Tatou was in the bedroom, and the electronic locks on the doors failed, locking us in the respective rooms we were in. When the energy returned to the base, we went down to the main room only to find it thrashed . Someone got in, fucked everything up, and left. One last fuck you from them.
Thank God that is no longer my problem. Sitting on the backseat of Dr. Ríos’ car, with my duffel bag right by me, I was smiling as I passed through the gate. See you never, Palo Rojo Large Array. If only I could have left with Ary.
Maybe I should consider a career change.
