The god he had been searching for had a name. He knew she did!
He continued following her light, Bubbles following it more accurately.
It's just- it's on the tip of his tongue!
A different god said his people called her Peril. He also said they loved him, so the traveler took his words lightly.
He could picture her hair, the clothes she died in, her words-
If he knew her words, he had to have known her voice, right?
And for her face- she had to make sure her prophet would recognize her, right?
They continued walking. He and Bubbles, that was.
She'd told him her name, right? Had to have!
No one he'd asked seemed to know, either. Joel and his citizens, of course; but the closest answer he'd gotten was Saint Helianthia. They both knew who they were talking about, a shared feeling of warmth.
Was he really chasing a feeling across universes?
No, of course not! His god- his friend- was out there!
He'd… he'd know her when he saw her. Yeah!
He could recall those conversations, he could hear the other person's voice, right-
He pursed his lips.
He'd know himself when he saw her.
