Kuzco woke up with a terrible headache. Looking around, he tried to decide how much disgrace he should feel. He couldn’t remember how he had passed out, but he was on the beach, looking out over the wide ocean, with the mountains behind him. He remembered coming down here, to see for himself the boats that had been reported. He noticed some wood sticking out from some nearby rocks. Was that the boat?
He stood up and walked over, and suddenly a young woman jumped out, shouting something, and waving an oar. If he had to guess, they’d already met.
