   Summary

   Mimic the Octopus is a professional assassin, carefully crafting his image as a stone-cold killer. He doesn't have time for causes, friends, or regrets, and he prefers it that way. After all, heroes become martyrs, and professionals survive.

   This is Mimic's philosophy, a simple binary between the naive and the ruthless. But as things go increasingly awry for the octopus, the ghosts of his past become impossible to ignore.
