   Summary

   Major Booker threw a file onto his desk, its crisp white pages spilling out. Rei spread out the pages and read about a special mission regarding the applications of autonomous vehicle navigation systems. A test was to be performed on one of the most advanced of these, Yukikaze. In a week’s time Yukikaze’s computer would be shipped to Earth, installed in an autonomous vehicle, and with her usual support staff and pilot test out her navigation capabilities in an entirely new environment.
