“I’d say this is where we part?” Viktor asked. They stood in front of the large black gates that led to the path towards the big double doors of his estate.
Jayce nodded, “I’d say so too.”
Viktor began to take off the jacket in order to return it to his colleague, but was shut down. Jayce tucked it back onto his shoulders, forcing him to keep it in place.
“You can return it later. You still have the walk up and we don’t want you freezing to death.” His hand lingered a little bit too long on his shoulder. The moment felt uncharacteristically intimate. It was different from Jayce’s porn watching and jerking off in restaurant bathrooms. This was a gentle kind of affection.
Viktor looked up at him, amber eyes giving a slight gleam in the street light overhead. Their gazes locked, but the moment ended sooner than either had hoped when he turned away to hide a blush.
Viktor pushed the gate open.
“Good night, Jayce.” He said, walking along the stone path and reaching his home, getting inside the moment he could.
