“It’s always a wedding, isn’t it,” Rowena says, staring at the blue and white plastic test sitting faceup on the bathroom counter, plus sign glaring at her. From his spot beside her Sam snorts, and his fingers find hers, squeezing firmly. Six weeks ago had been Claire and Kaia’s wedding, and now- much like following Dean and Castiel’s wedding years prior- a positive pregnancy test sat on their bathroom counter.
“We really should stay away from Jack Daniels,” he replies, and Rowena’s lips twitch fondly as she rubs her fingertips between her furrowed brows.
