   Summary

   this whole thing is heavily based on an AU i've been working on, so it takes place prior to the events of The Batman. a bit of a look into Edward's time as a teenager going through foster homes. playing with the concept of if he had made a sort of.. reliant push and pull connection with someone else, during that period of his life. a friend (?). reader is meant to be around fifteen, edward sixteen or seventeen. i make references to things in this that i haven't posted/written about yet so - hopefully it makes enough sense to be enjoyable.
