Chapter Text
Joe was trying to figure out if it was a tummy ache or butterflies that made his tummy act funny.
Joe's tummy problems started two days ago, when Nicky announced he would be home early from his course, something Joe was looking forward to because he missed Nicky so much. So, after two days, Joe determined that it was the butterflies and decided to carry on working on his statue. But as the day went on, it became clear to Joe that his tummy problems didn't get any better, and after lunch, he threw up.
When Joe left the bathroom after throwing up for the third time, he knew he should go to bed, but he wanted so badly to pick Nicky up at the bus station so he could kiss and hug the man he missed so much. Joe had just put his pants on when he felt he should throw up again and ran for the bathroom. While throwing up, Joe heard his mobile ring but ignored it for now because he couldn't understand why he was throwing up when he hadn't been eating anything the entire week.
After staggering out of the bathroom, Joe took his mobile and saw it was Nicky who had called him.
Nicky: "Hi, Love. I know I said I would be home earlier than planned, but thanks to a bus strike, I will be delayed by around four hours. I am so sorry."
Joe: "You have nothing to be sorry about, and for once, I am glad you are not home."
Nicky: "Okay, wanna tell me why?"
Joe: "I really and I mean really don't want you to see me throw up because I fear it might want to change your mind about marrying me."
Nicky: "Don't be silly. And I am determined to show you that when I promise to stick by you for better and worse, I will do it no matter what."
Joe: "I love you so much."
Nicky: "Not as much as I love you."
Joe groaned when his tummy started hurting again, and he was sure Nicky had heard it.
Nicky: "Go to bed, Yusuf."
Joe: "Please don't call me Yusuf. It is something only my Mom or Grandmothers call me whenever I have done something I shouldn't have done."
Nicky: "You didn't complain about me calling you Yusuf last week when I rode your cock."
Joe: "That is true. Listen, Nicky. I will go to bed once I have picked you up."
Nicky: "I know why you want to pick me up, my Incurable Romantic, because you want to kiss and hug me."
Joe: "Yes, I have been waiting for the last five days to do that, so can you blame me?"
Nicky: "No, I will never blame you for your romantic ideas, because I love them so much, but for now I want you to go back to bed and get some sleep."
Joe groaned again, but this time it was because he knew Nicky was right.
Nicky: "Do it for me, Joe. And I promise you that if you do what I ask you to do, you can decide what kind of roleplay we should do the next time."
Joe: "Okay, you win, but Nicky, please hurry home to me."
Nicky: "As fast as I can. Go to bed and sleep, and when you wake up, I will be there."
Joe: "I will keep you to that promise..."
More did Joe not get to say because he was running for the bathroom again. Instead of searching for his mobile, Joe went straight for the bed, and instead of lying down on his side, he chose Nicky's side because it smelled of him, and that was what Joe needed right now.
